MAIN PURPOSE:
To deliver a complete set of documents named Generic Configurations, Engineering Rules and Product Configuration Level for GSM product line.
O&M GSM Engineering
The description of the activity is composed of the following tasks:
- Define O&M Generic Configurations as minimum HW & SW parts on which ALU applications can run;
- Define the saleable configurations (HW and SW) at that moment and the upgrade kits from Release Bn to Bn+1;
- Plan and track the review cycle (issue new proposals, update documents, approval request, release version);
- Obsolescence management;
- Participate to internal and external meetings (with main suppliers);
- Support to peer internal entities;
- Manage the introduction of new HW / SW: loan requests from suppliers, follow-up the reception and return of the equipment;
- Technical documentation on supplier’s products.
THE JOB IS AVAILABLE IN TIMISOARA.
- Technical University degree (ETC, AC)
- Fair understanding of the GSM system and topology;
- Good knowledge of IT hardware for PC environment;
- Windows XP/2003 server/Vista usage;
- Languages: English (read, write, speak)- advance;
- French language is a plus;
- SUN HW knowledge is a plus;
- Relevant experience in O&M test is a plus;
- Unix/Linux usage is a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills, due to many interfaces to cope with;
- Flexibility, adaptability to changing situations and tasks;
- Organized person eager to learn.
