The GSD Center (Global Services Delivery) is the technical network interface for the network owners and their customers; ensuring our customer’s networks and their customers’ services are operating at an optimum level, while retaining and improving the expected network standards and integrity.
The GSD engineers use their telecom skills and knowledge of systems and procedures to monitor customers’ networks and services with the primary aim to maximize network availability for their customers, solving technical problems associated with customer networks.
Responsibilities:
• Prompt escalation & notification of major network faults and customer faults;
• Professionally utilizing GSD systems and procedures to monitor and maintain customer network availability & integrity;
• Ensure network faults and customer faults are resolved well within agreed procedures;
• Accurate & timely creation, updating and completion of all Trouble Tickets;
• Provide prompt and regular feedback to customers in relation to on-going issues;
• Tracking and directing the work flow of faults and planned events.
• Bachelor degree, preferably related to telecommunications, electronics, informatics or equivalent;
• Technical background in any telecom area RAN or TRANS/IP/CORE/VAS
• English language medium level, German language is an advantage;
• Analytical mind, structured and logical thinking;
