Alcatel designs and hosts an Internet management solution, which allows the clients to easily manage their contentand publish it to the end users. Alcatel`s clients are worldwide telecom operators, media companies and content providers. The content could be images, music or video.
You will participate in the integration and support processes of the Alcatel Mobile Koisk production installations.
Your main focus will be to support existing customers, internal (hosting and operations centers) or external (mainly Telecom Operators), with their product issues.
Technical requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science/Informatics.
- Limited familiarity with Java or other programming languages
- Good knowledge of Linux administration
- Average knowledge scripting languages (shell scripting, perl, python)
- Some knowledge of database administration (Oracle, PostgreSQL), Tomcat, Apache administration.
- Optional knowledge of XML, XSL.
Additional requirements:
- Availability for flexible working schedule
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work in an international, distributed team environment
- Ability to handle issues in crisis situation.
