Our simulation department is performing virtual tests on tires and predicts the performance of our future products. With our work we are directly involved in the development of new products of the passenger car and commercial vehicle tire divisions. The main activities are the translation of tire designs into simulation models, the simulations of tires, and the post processing of this data. For expansion of the department we are looking for candidates with the following profile.
Tasks:
-Structural simulation with finite element method
-Model creation with commercial and in-house applications
-Interpretations of the simulation data
University degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics;
Good mechanical understanding
Good IT knowledge like MS Office, (Unix/Linux, programming experienced is a benefit)
Knowledge of a finite element programmed and a CAD programmed is an advantage;
Very good English knowledge.
