As a technical designer you are responsible for the structural design and calculation of the mechanical components.
You will coordinate technical requirements directly with our customers in the automotive industry.
Alongside development studies for innovative new products, you will also be carrying out design vehicle applications for existing products.
Quality-assurance measures as well as tolerance calculations and design FMEAs are also part of your work.
In addition, you coordinate sample production and testing and implement the resulting optimization measures.
Within the context of our Time to Market process, you will take an active part in project team meetings and support team members from other departments involved in the development process.
You present and represent the results of your work both within the company and/or at the customers.
What we expect from you:
- Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Precision Engineering;
- One to three years professional experience;
- Experience in the design of plastic parts and / or die cast parts;
- Experience in designing with CATIA V5;
- Creativity and innovative ability ;
- Familiarity in dealing with quality methods;
-Knowledge of project management;
- Very good knowledge of English (German is also appreciated);
- Analytical abilities and concept oriented view;
- Confident, competent manner;
- Willingness to work, ability to make contacts easily, team strengths.
