Role: Design of moulds for plastic injection machines starting from the specification of the container, machine
model and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 2D draft after 3D modeling to be used in production;
- Conversion of 2D into 3D models (including creation of the draft);
- Design of the custom parts and extractors;
- Design of the cooling robot according the specification of the container, machine model and productivity;
- Research and development of ideas of new solutions and innovations to improve performance and be cost
effective;
- Cost reduction analysis;
- Improvement of the performance, efficiency and reliability of existing products;
- Research, using mathematical modeling to work out whether new developments and innovations would
work and be cost effective;
- Meeting deadlines established for each project.
Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in Mechanic Engineering
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in similar position
- Good knowledge of dynamics and cinematic
- Good knowledge of CAD software (Solid Edge, Unigraphics)
- Very good knowledge of materials properties (resistance, tolerance, termic treatments etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of English language
