- Performs technical reviews of customer approved vendor lists (AVL's) and advise compliance for the parts
- Identifies potential suppliers, part nomenclatures and commodity codes based on parametric part descriptions
- Recommends procurement flexibility options
- Supports internal issue in relate of identification of parts, parts qualification, parts compliance with technical specification
- Reviews purchased material requirements as specified on engineering/customer drawings, purchase orders (terms and conditions) and contracts, to ensure quality, reliability and regulatory requirements are satisfied.
- Supports internal process improvement initiatives
- Identifies alternate components/suppliers
- Analyzes, verifies, monitors the AVL. Assure Consistent 100% technical component data accuracy
- Retrieve/assess component data sheets
- Provides prompt, accurate dispositions for non-conforming purchased materials. Review and verify rejects to determine the fault
- Impacts immediate (daily or weekly) operations of the team or functional area. Works on assignments with general objectives requiring coordination within the function.
- Technical University Degree - Electronics or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years equivalent experience (test /debug / materials)
- Excellent technical knowledge of passive, semiconductor and mechanical components and component manufacturers
- Strong ability to work well in a team environment
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership skills
- Computer literate – excellent knowledge
- Current knowledge of component suppliers
- High aptitude for very detailed work
- Current Knowledge of supply base
- In-depth understanding of supplier management
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative
- Strong problem solving capability
- Able to make decisions and understand the impact of those to the business
