Requirements
3+ years experience hands-on administration experience with Linux, preferably Ubuntu
1+ provable experience with Asterisk (+ Trixbox or Elastix)
Working knowledge of firewalls, proxies, routers, servers, SSH, Remote Access,Proxies, Transparent Proxies, Bridge, DNS (BIND), NFS, FTP, sendmail etc
Understanding of voice-over-IP protocols (e.g. SIP, H.323)
Excellent problem solving skills
Very good written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot a small Linux WAN/LAN network and a VoIP phone system
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues
Monitor systems and suggest system improvements as needed
Install and configure new applications, tools and patches
Mentor a jr. Linux/Asterisk administrator
Flexible hours (can have another full time job)
