The position is located in Alcatel-Lucent South East Europe headquarter in Timisoara, Romania. The Legal Counsel will work within the Legal Department of Alcatel-Lucent Romania and will support the legal activity for Alcatel-Lucent in Romania and other countries of the South East Europe region .
Major activities:
• Independent management of the legal cases.
• Preparing drafts of legal documents and legal memoranda in most areas of law .
• Legal support for commercial transactions. Direct negotiations of commercial contracts with External clients.
• Interfacing with Internal and External clients.
• Handling multiple projects of diverse nature – legal and operational in the region.
- Law degree
- Excellent English skills in speaking and writing
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- Applying advanced principles and concepts learned to a wide range of work within the legal discipline
- Ability to work across functions
- Good understanding of the legal system/principles of Law in the international context
- Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with a range of contacts inside and outside own area.
- Ability to work independently within broadly defined criteria with minimal guidance and limited review of results
