Role:
- To provide leadership in industry best practices and common processes.
- Responsible for leading and implementing business process design or projects focused on identifying solutions to support business objectives and utilization of resources to impact cost reduction savings.
- To define follows and to manage the global improvement roadmap at BU level.
- To take part to standars definition of the standard lean process and improvement roadmap at site level and manage the implementation of these at Business Unit level.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership in the design, development and dissemination of world class processes and leading edge business solutions
- Establishes and maintains contact with line and staff members to monitor and report progress to meet objectives and key initiatives
- Monitors performance and financial measures across Business Unit and identifies issues that have the greatest impact to meet business objectives. As appropriate, reviews root cause analysis for non-conformance to standard business metrics and for CSI scores of 80% or less
- Directly contributes to strategic decisions involving the placement of new business and new product. Maintains knowledge of process and service capabilities for Business Unit.
- Assumes leadership role in forming and managing Business Unit project teams
- Develops methods, processes and procedures that will improve process and reduce failures
- 5+ years experience in production management in a high volume/mix manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in technical engineering or related field
- Lean/Kaizen & 6 Sigma experience & knowledge
- Quality experience
- Ability to understand and act on business/financial reports and KPIs
- Strong leadership personality - clear vision, role model, standard-setter, coach, motivator
- Very good people and process management skills
- Strong listening, communication and influencing skills – verbal, written and formal
- Fluent verbal/written English
- Good customer relationship skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Advanced skills of computer literacy – MS Office, ERP systems, manufacturing control systems etc.
