Job purpose
As member of the Product Development Team in our hub in Timisoara, the right incumbent will prepare specimens for testing purposes and marketing needs according to the engineering direction, being responsible for keeping infrastructure updated and on high quality level.
Key accountabilities
Responsible for the on time and in high quality preparation of specimens/prototypes.
Accountable for testing preparation according to latest safety and performance standards.
Always plan for contingency utilizing the available resources (internal & external) in the best possible way.
Respond on time to queries raised and concern matters of clarity and/or specific instructions and guidance.
Communicate effectively all findings from prototypes with the PD design engineers that the technical solutions meet the high quality and safety standards, while at the same time manufacturability is guaranteed.
Propose modification that could lead to improvements on product performance, manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Monitor the progress of each project in order to meet the committed timelines, while informing promptly the project managers for potential delays.
Identify current and future needs for investment on new tools concerning the development needs for prototyping, and testing.
Required qualifications and experience
Technical Institute degree or Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (MS will be assessed positively)
Working experience on cooling systems
Technical skills concerning multitasking needs – Electrical, Cooling, Structural
3+ years of relevant experience in an industrial environment (experience on multinational company will be considered positively)
Proficient user of the English language and IT literate
