The programmer will join existing teams of Java developers working for versions of the current company products and for new products and
should be able to:
- Contribute to most of the phases of tasks development like analysis, specification, high/low level design and implementation;
- Interact with external technical and business level persons in order to asses tasks complexity and to formalize tasks descriptions;
- Interact with internal development and testing teams according to the company specific process;
Computer Science licensed or equivalent;
- Preferably 3+ years experience.
Skills:
- Advanced OOP, JAVA and networking;
- Java GUI relevant experience (Swing, SWT);
- Experience with multi-threaded applications;
- Experience with distributed applications;
- Experience with Eclipse RCP development would be a plus;
- Must have good written and spoken English.
Desirable experience and knowledge:
- Software methodologies: waterfall/agile;
- Big projects;
- Financial data;
- Good understanding of algorithm complexity analysis;
- Experience and/or understanding of code optimization
