Design and implement enhancements to the Automated Case Management product using semantic models and the Metatomix technology.
Participate in requirements gathering activities and providing feedback.
Participate in analysis activities such as producing use cases.
Estimate project tasks for project planning purposes.
Participate in and contribute to multiple projects.
Develop solutions that conform to a design model and within its specified constraints.
Validate implementations for conformance to the design and executing unit test programs to ensure quality and completeness of the implementation.
Preparing documentation for design, source code, unit test plans, integration tests, release notes, requirements reviews, and design activities as required.
Conducting and participating in design and code reviews. Adhering to established development standards and coding guidelines.
Working in compliance with configuration management rules and guidelines.
Conducting GUI design reviews. Communicating project technical status.
Prefer an independent self-starter with a BSCS, BSCE or BSEE degree or related discipline.
Requires 2-4 years relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with Java is required.
Proficiency with HTML and JavaScript is required. Experience with XML and XSLT is required. Experience developing Flex applications is preferred. Experience developing Java Servlets is preferred. Experience developing SQL is preferred. Experience with RDF is preferred.
Experience with JESS rules is preferred. Hands-on experience in the following areas is also preferred:
oJava Foundation Classes (JFC)
oSwing Components
oJava Database Connectivity (JDBC)
oJavaBeans
oEnterprise JavaBeans (EJB)
oJava Server Pages (JSP)
oOperating Systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows NT)
