24/7 support role to monitor and analyzes security events, make a risk assignment and response and solve this events in conjunction with global and local IT teams;
Perform various security assessments at the network and application layer and take a key role in the development of processes and requirements for systems prior to their acceptance into production;
Works on various security incidents with clearly defined objectives in a standardize way with multiple team across the regions. Executes and provides input to processes or technologies;
Responsible to implement and support the Security Incident Response platform;
Proficiency with technical monitoring, scanning, and remediation tools such as AppScan, WebInspect, Internet Scanner, Nessus, Nmap, etc. ;
Provides IT Security engineering and integration services to internal customers;
Co-ordinate technical resources supporting network security incident handling for virus outbreaks, etc.;
Involved in a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, network security, and security and privacy.
Studies and qualifications:
Technical university degree desirable or students (informatics, computers, automatics);
IT related certifications are preferred;
Experience:
Would be a plus:
1-2 years working experience in the IT industry;
Knowledge/ Abilities/ Skills:
Knowledge of commercial security vendors like Symantec ( Antivirus, IDS ), Cisco, Microsoft, Snort, etc.;
Knowledge of Windows, Unix, TCP/IP, Firewalls, IDS. Understanding of security technologies including Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS.
Knowledge of SOX IT Controls;
Knowledge of Windows Update Service Version 2 and 3;
It requires some knowledge about general Security architectures;
Experience and general knowledge of security products and concepts;
Ability to understand security alerts, analyzes the alerts, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to solve the issue;
Ability to effectively present information and respond to information from groups;
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills;
English- good knowledge in verbal and written!
