Understanding of the functionality of complex automotive electronics;
Analysis of customer demands and system specification;
Design of complex test systems including test hardware and software with state-of-the-art equipment;
Strong analysis ability in discovering the source of failure and suggestions for improvement;
Maintenance and new implementation of features for current test systems;
If necessary, test support on site with the customer.
University degree in a technical specialization;
Experience in the handling of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies, etc.
Knowledge of testing concepts and test system design;
Experience in the handling of test equipment and tester build;
Willingness to attend job training in Germany;
Knowledge in special functional area. e.g.:
- Electrical networks and protocols communication (automotive interfaces, e.g. CAN, LIN at least basic knowledge of automotive network-systems functionality);
- Test system equipment (e.g. dataloggers, power supplies, relays, GPIB, multimeters, etc.);
- Hardware/software interfaces;
- Automotive diagnostic tools (Vector preferred);
- Automotive electronics and functionalities;
- MS-Office tools, requirements and version management tools (e.g. DOORS, MKS) is a plus;
Microprocessors and Microcontrollers - basic knowledge;
Broad knowledge of Windows C programming language (NI CVI preferred);
Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to proactively clarify and solve problems;
Talented troubleshooting and improvisation skills;
Excellent English language skills;
Excellent communication skills.
