ROLE - maintains accurate Import-Export Compliance within the site for all inbound international shipments and acquisitions and will manage all the operations related to the inward processing
Main responsibilities:
- Prepares documentation for the inbound customs clearance
- Communicates with Customer Focus Team for support in part clarification
- Classifies importing items with correct technical code
- Issues export invoices and packing slip for finished goods, scrap, raw materials for the deliveries
- Keeps evidence of the imports/ acquisitions
- Operates with the Customs Management
- Maintains accuracy of the Customs and part number data bases
- Arranges transportation of goods and keeping evidence of all the transport costs
- Interfaces with customers, freight forwarders, customs officers and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipments
- University Degree
- 1+ years experience in logistics, import-export activities
- Good knowledge of logistics and import-export activities
- Good English knowledge (spoken/written)
- MS Office operating skills - Excel, Word
- Analytical thinking, attentive to details, process-focused, flexible personality
- Well organized person, capable to dealing with stressful situation
