* Configuration and administration of active network devices, including interface configuration and routing protocols
* Execute the installation, configuration and testing of required services according to specifications
* Maintains service performance and availability by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning. Troubleshooting and escalate network problems
* Accomplish organization goals by accepting a shared duty schedule
* Supporting the R&D team with the software and system requirements
* Perform access analysis and security checks
* Support local office environment
* Good experience working with different OS flavours: Linux, Unix, Windows
* Experience with the following tools/technologies: Apache server, JBoss, PHP, MySQL, various SMTP services, virtualization, networking
* Strong technical problem-solving skills
* Ability and desire to learn new things
* Good Communication skills, multi-tasking abilities
* Good English skills (both verbal and written)
* German language is a plus
