MAIN PURPOSE :
Participate to the full GSM System Integration/Validation Phase. Based on system specifications analysis, the goal of this activity is to validate all the system behavior: configuration management, software replacement, extension/reduction/reconfiguration of the network, specific O&M features. The activity is feature-oriented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Analysis of system specifications
• Participation to final integration test phase at sub-system level with different development centers
• Preparation of test plan and test description
• Preparation of tools and tests scenarios
• Run tests on dedicated test beds on real configuration
• Results analysis; description of fault reports; feedback with designers; tests of corrections
• Management of fault reports coming from customer during maintenance phase
• Field support given during First-Offs, acceptances
• Validation of methods (installation, commissioning) with method team
• Validation of customer documentation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
• knowledge of telecom protocols, IP and networking
• basic knowledge in software technology: basic tools on PC, Unix/Linux
• languages: English (read, write, speak)
PERSONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED :
• needs good communication and team spirit, due to the links between all the different teams from specifications to designers and final customers
• adaptability to changing environment and new requests
