TPS team activities:
Within the Europe & South and Europe & North department of the Mobile Access Business Division (BD), the Technical Program Support (TPS) team has the following missions and responsibilities for the 2G, WiMAX and W-CDMA products:
- follow-up of the projects handled by the Services BG programs gathering field feedback on the product performances and managing the escalation of the field issues (e.g. critical customer issues),
- provide a technical and operational expertise to the RSC clusters and Services BG programs especially for the new products introduction,
- contribute to the Services BG operational readiness in order to anticipate the introduction and the handling of the Mobile Access products,
- participation to the pre-DR5 activities to prepare the first post-DR5 activities and develop the TPS team know-how. The participation to the pre-DR5 activities managed by the Product Group TI&S teams corresponds to a learning and training phase for the TPS team,
- direct management in exceptional cases (strategic customer, critical project phase) of the project activities reinforcing the Services BG program teams.
To perform the above mentioned missions the TPS team groups technical managers having a strong knowledge of the Mobile Access BD products and a comprehensive understanding and long experience of the operational activities.
Within the Mobile Access BD the TPS team has a strong interaction with the Product Groups and especially the Technology Introduction & Support (TIS) and Technical Program Management (TPM) teams. The TPS team has obviously a close relationship with the Europe & South and Europe & North RSC clusters which manage the Mobile Access business.
Outside the Mobile Access BD the TPS team has a close relationship with the Services BG RSUs which are hosting the customer programs and performing the field operations.
TPS Romania team activities:
The TPS Romania team will work in close relationship with the 2G FOA and Network Engineering teams of the 2G Product Group. The TPS Romania team will participate to the 2G releases First-Offs in order to become familiar with the new products and ensure a know-how transfer during the First-Offs. On the other hand the TPS Romania team will support the Services BG teams during the first rollouts after a DR5 bringing a strong operational and technical knowledge.

- initiative and autonomy, team spirit, analytic & synthetic mind, rigour and availability are important qualities.
Some short (e.g. 2/3 weeks) world-wide missions (Europe & North and Europe & South areas) are expected to work directly with the program teams. Therefore a fluent English is mandatory.
A previous R&D (especially system integration and validation teams), field technical support, radio network engineering or technical project management experience will be highly appreciated.
