RESPONSABILITATI

- Provide accurate & reliable financial, statutory and supplementary reporting to management meeting corporate guidelines on a monthly and quarterly basis. (E.g. tax return, income tax, VAT, Intrastat etc.)
- To ensure financial results are reported in compliance with local GAAP for statutory reporting and US GAAP and Corporate policies for management reporting.
- Implement finance control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
- Give guidance to managers on finance policies and procedures and actions required to meet business goals.
- Participate actively in the management of the business and provide financial advice on business decisions.
- Interpret and analyze the Profit and Loss results of the business unit to establish variances, trends etc. and to recommend corrective measures if required.
- Provide financial and management reporting to Senior and Operating management.
- Work with the Avery Shared Service Centre in Cork in Ireland to ensure the efficient and effective processing of financial transactions.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for the business unit in cooperation with local management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate treasury, banks and other financial institutions to ensure the provision of effective and cost efficient banking services.
- Maintain local general ledger to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies.
- Recommend and implement appropriate internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors on all matters concerning year end and interim review audits.
- Co-ordinate with external advisers concerning income tax and sales tax compliance.
- Manage effectively all reporting staff including objective setting, regular appraisals and personal development planning.


CERINTE

- University degree in Financial Management.
- Professional accountancy qualification preferred (ACCA or equivalent) and at least 4 years professional experience in multinational company, ideally in production environment.
- Trained in audit firms is advantage (e.g Big 4).
- Previous responsibility for managing people as advantage.
- Ability to analyze problems & situations in a logical & quantifiable way.
- Ability to develop solutions and actions to resolve business issues.
- Exercise sound business judgment & taking account of all relevant factors.
- Ability to manage & motivate a team of people to ensure all derive maximum satisfaction and enjoyment form their work & realize their full potential.
- Build trustful working relationships with peers, supervisors and customers in a number of different cultures and functions.
- Ability to understand problems form detailed and macro perspective and to develop problems both short-term tactical solutions & longer term strategic solutions.
- MS Office (very good in Excel) and Lotus user knowledge.
- Financial & Accounting Systems knowledge.
- English - advanced.
- French or/and German as advantage.
