Our components for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems provide drivers with active support by significantly enhancing comfort, identifying potentially hazardous situations in advance, and helping to avoid them.
We are developing innovative products based on the newest technologies in automotive area.
Lane Departure Warning is based on image processing technologies and uses image camera sensors. It protects drivers from unintentional lane changes, contributing to enhanced comfort.
Blind Spot Detection is a radar based system which provides information on whether there are any vehicles in the side mirror areas non-visible for the driver.
Automatic Cruise Control system keeps the proper distance between the cars and automatically breaks the car in case of dangerous situations, using Laser technology.
As Hardware Development Engineer you\'ll be involved in:
Design, Calculate and Simulate hardware modules and schematics according to customer requirements
Perform worse case and FMEA analyses of the circuits
Collaborate with layout engineers for schematic entry and layout development
Perform EMC and FEA analyses and tests
Document the HW design
Create HW test specifications, perform HW tests and create the test reports
Support the SW team in developing the embedded SW applications
Cooperate with an international development team and customers
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
University Degree (i.e. Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Informatics...)
Good knowledge and min 3years experience in analog and/or digital electronic design
Knowledge in microcontrollers and embedded SW systems
Knowledge in measuring and test equipment
Basic knowledge in embedded SW (assembly language, C or C++)
Knowledge in any of the next areas would be a plus: Camera sensors, Optoelectronics, Radar technologies, IR Lasers
Good English language skills
