-Develops, implements and monitors environmental programs and policies;
-Audits company facilities and recommends actions for the correction of hazardous situations;
-Ensures compliance with national and EU environmental regulations;
-Compiles and submits required environmental and safety reports;
-Responds to questions from employees and managers concerning environmental requirements;
-Performs the general Environmental training;
-Evaluates the subcontractors environmental impact on site;
-Audits subcontractors compliance with Solectron Environmental Policy;
-Obtains all environmental approvals, consents and permits and maintains them up to date;
Bachelors in Technical field
- Minimum 2 years experience in a quality/engineering function
- Knowledge of Romanian and EU environmental regulations;
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in functional team and cross functional teams
- Well organized and able to plan own workload
- Good ability to take decisions and understand the impact to the business
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office
- Analytical, able to assimilate information rapidly and reach conclusions
