In your role of Support Engineer you will have the following specific activities and responsibilities:
Become an expert on software development tools usage and administration
Monitor tool environment worldwide (servers)
Provide feedback for new versions development and tool enhancement
Support end users in their daily job (based on incident tickets)
Train users in software development environment
Debug problems and participate to the implementation of the changes
Centralize users requests for changes and monitor the implementation
You will act as part of the world-wide team of specialists.
The opportunity will enable you to use and expand your existing skills by sharing the knowledge with your colleagues. You have to be self motivated and dedicated, and have a good command of the English language.
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial integration phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
University level background
Knowledge in development activities (building, compiling, linking)
Knowledge in SW development process for distributes teams (code sharing, source control, collaboration)
Interest in software development technologies
Basic knowledge on programming (Java / C / C++ / C#)
Good English command
Good communication skills
Well organized person, tenacious, attentive to details, methodic, rigorous
Would be an advantage:
Basic JEE knowledge (JBoss server)
Knowledge of Eclipse platform
Web development knowledge (JSP, HTML)
