RESPONSABILITATI

Overview:

A number of positions are on offer in the area of
a) Software in the loop (SIL) and
b) Software development for microcontrollers within the area of subsystems for electronic stability control. A period of training in Germany tailored to suit the activities will be planned as appropriate for the individual candidates.

Positions & Activities
- Develop of software in the loop (SIL) tool for individual subsystem in braking systems (Electronic Stability Control - ESC)
- Develop tools / environments for SIL simulation and improved test automation
- Develop software for microcontrollers to be used in electronic stability control systems (Automotive safety systems) especially indirect tire pressure monitoring systems (iTPM)
- Coordinate software and process improvements with development teams from requirements through to design, coding, testing and analysis.


CERINTE

- University degree (related to embedded SW, control, electrical or electronic eng., or informatics, mechanical engineering, physics) - enhanced physics and mathematics a plus
- Balance of software engineering and / or control engineering skills
- Software development in C, C++, assembler, including microcontroller software
- Good communication skills in English (German a plus)
- Creativity, initiative, understanding / communication / reaction to issues, good teamwork in virtual environments, ability to learn by doing, willingness to travel
- Analytical skills and learning capacity (e.g., statistics, knowledge of tires , vibrations, understanding of vehicle dynamics)
- Ability to work independently, self-discipline, reliability, consistency
- Control algorithm development in C or Matlab/Simulink
