Major Purpose of the Position:
This position is a part of a highly experienced international database operations team, which provides day to day support to business.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Running queries on databases;
• Perform changes on the registered data;
• Update and maintain the Database;
• Monitor, Optimize and troubleshoot the database servers and perform basic database administration tasks;
• Establish optimized methods of transferring data between various database management systems;
• Participate in creating database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers;
• Provide technical support in resolving performance issues, optimizing queries.
Requirements:
• SQL knowledge;
• Knowledge to evaluate and optimize queries, suggest index required is desired;
• Knowledge and experience in MS Reporting Services would be a plus;
• English language skills (verbal and written);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Stress resistance;
• Demonstrates analytical skills
