To complete our team, based in Timisoara and support our growth in Europe, we are looking for a Database Manager.
Your main tasks will be to:
* Running queries on databases to provide counts/reports to business users;
* Modify data based on business requirements provided by the user;
* Actively communicating with Project Managers, Sales managers, Survey Programming and other teams from our international offices;
* Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot the database servers and perform basic database administration tasks;
* Establish optimized methods of transferring data between various database management systems;
* Participate in creating database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers along with the designing of the basic structure of the database;
* Provide technical support in resolving performance issues, optimizing queries.
* University degree, preferably with technical background;
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
* Proficient with MS-Office (Microsoft Word and Excel);
* Strong SQL, MS SQL Server knowledge. Ability to write complex queries and experience in updating data structures;
* Knowledge about evaluating and optimizing queries;
* MS Reporting Services knowledge is a plus.
