The Database Managerwill perform data analysis and generate statistical reports and graphs using a variety of software programs.
This person will work with to determine the effectiveness of educational lessons and assessments in both paper and digital form.
This position requires flexibility and a willingness to accommodate changing priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Write ad hoc queries (SQL) and generate statistical analyses and tests
2.Perform statistical analyses with software programs, document and describe analyses and results
3.Create databases
4.Work on multiple project teams that conduct research and data analyses
5.Conduct literature reviews, write summaries of literature, research methods, and analyses for publication and presentations
- Degree in Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrate knowledge of statistics and measurement principles and solid research skills
- Demonstrated experience with SQL or other database programming languages (proficiency with statistical analysis software such as SPSS a plus)
- Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of ongoing projects simultaneously
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, initiative, and a team-player attitude
- Familiarity with assessment theory and experimental design, or data mining are a plus.
- Good English is a must.
