Role:
to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
Tasks:
1) to respond to incoming enquiries from clients by telephone and email.
2) to discuss translation requirements with clients and advise them in their best interest, seeking assistance from colleagues and superiors when necessary.
3) to sell the services of Lingo24 accurately and effectively.
4) once a project has been ordered by the client, to prepare the project for the project manager to take over, passing over all the details regarding the client and the project, having entered all details onto the project page.
5) to prepare quotations for clients and follow up on these quotations promptly and systematically.
6) to receive from the client proper project authorisation that is in line with Lingo24's credit policies.
7) to attend to the requirements of clients with due care, attention, courtesy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
8) to develop and maintain a good relationship with clients.
9) to assist other members of staff in their dealings with clients.
10) to contact clients systematically for feedback on our services.
12) to contact lapsed clients systematically to maintain the profile of Lingo24 in their organisation.
Education and skills required:
– a university degree, preferably in languages, and ideally involving English.
– excellent spoken and written English (German, in addition, would be a distinct advantage)
– excellent computer literacy (MS Office, Internet, Email, typing).
– excellent organisational skills, and be friendly, level-headed, self-motivated, independent, trustworthy, ambitious, committed and a very strong team player
– experience dealing with customers in English (and other languages)
Working Conditions:
– Salary: Will depend on experience, but will be competitive and rewarding.
– Based: Working from home (mainly using the Internet) in or around Timisoara. Applicants must be able to get broadband Internet access at home; subscription for internet paid by the company.
– Hours: There will be some flexibility on hours, but the main working hours will correspond to UK working hours.

Lingo24 is a growing and respected UK translation company with major global accounts. It has full-time employees throughout the UK, in Europe, in New Zealand, and in China. The company has around 35 staff in Timisoara.
