In the Financial-Accounting Department we are running these days an extensive project, consisting in the creation of an Accounting Competence Center which will undertake the financial-accounting function from the others Alcatel-Lucent sites from Europe.

Main responsibilities:
- Supervise all the accounting processes and maintain/establish the necessary internal controls
- Liaise with the Shared Service Center in order to maintain control over the outsourced accounting processes; performs a constant check of the processes and initiate any necessary corrective actions
- Review accounting documents and supervise documents’ flows
- Generate the accounting bookings that are outside the scope of Shared Service Center
- Analyze and produce the monthly trial balance
- Research and resolve accounting issues
- Primary contact for external auditors
- Economical University degree;
- Several year of experience in accounting, including a similar position - strong accounting skills are required;
- ERP knowledge (ideally SAP) would be an advantage;
- English language required;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and to perform under pressure
- Ability to liaise with especially internal but also external partners and to coordinate resources not under his/her direct supervision. Previuos experience acting in a matrix organization would be important in adapting to the job.
