Job Summary:
This position is responsible for an effective production operation in order to achieve established production targets (productivity, quality, costs, delivery time, internal and external PPM, House Keeping, H&S and Continuous Improvement). In this position, you are responsible for managing a team of Production Leaders.
Business Unit Manager will report directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:
Supervision of the business production area in Terms of Operation; ensure that the process and the production team are organized to meet the production goals set by the Business
Responsible of the functionality of the installations, production capacities
Responsible for customer deliveries in requested quantities, time and quality; recognizes and solves problems affecting production including schedules, staff, turnover, quality, and order changes of production line
Performs Analysis of Quality and Production Indicators in order to ensure continuous improvement of performance
Prioritize the activity according the actual results, monitor the action and make sure they are correctly applied
Assumes responsibility for the annual budget and the Profit and Loss of the Business Unit ensuring the achievement of all the aspects of the Business Plan
Leads and implements corrective action in case of crises, emergencies, or critical business situations in consultation with Production Manager
Set of responsibilities, competencies, training and qualification of the subordinate employees
Ensure health/safety environmental rules are met; Act on employee problems
Attend to Regular Meetings and Reporting; Standard plant communication system within Plant Organization


CERINTE

Bachelor’s Degree. (Technical Faculty would be an advantage)
Experience in production processes - minimum 5 years in a related field and in a senior position
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001
Knowledge of Kan ban, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D, PFMEA; advantage SAP knowledge
Knowledge and experience of teamwork, lean production, continuous improvement
Proven record in leading and developing production teams; good management skills and administrative abilities
Understanding and guiding technical issues from a senior management level
Capable of managing priorities, application of structured problem solving techniques, risk management techniques, project management control
Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural organization and to provide direction and leadership
Ability to cope and work under pressure; convincing personality with natural authority
Analytical, conceptual, strategic and planning abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and make decisions
Inspire innovation and continuous quality improvement
Advanced English language
Very good PC skills
Good team player with proactive "can do" attitude.
