RESPONSABILITATI

The Software Supply Chain team is a newly formed team within the Operations Organization that focusses on Software as a key and separate component of the Supply Chain Infrastruture.The SW Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing and deploying best in class processes that enable our customers to easily order, receive entitlements and take delivery of product software with procedures that are consistent across all products in the ALU portfolio.

The team's primary focus is to build a world-class software "production" and "distribution" operations by:

- Simplifying the software ordering process for all customers in all regions

- Establishing cost-effective, secure and reliable physical production and electronic delivery of software to our customers

- Deploying a streamlined license key management process

- Providing integrated tools/processes to allow our various business lines to manage their software assests incl' 3rd party components

- Within the Software Supply Chain organization, the solutions and guidelines are developed by the Capability Managers for each program (Orderability, Entitlement, Delivery and Tracking)

- The Software Supply Chain organization is seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts /Systems Engineers to staff Capability Management and Product Division Operations positions within this fast-paced Operations team



Mission & Responsabilities

These highly visible positions span all domains within the software supply chain, including orderability (product definition, setup, etc…), entitlement (licensing), delivery (media and electronic), and tracking (measuring, reporting). Candidates will be assigned to one of the two areas; Capability Management Programs or Product Division Operations, depending on strengths, aptitude, and preference

Roles in Capability Management domains will build and/or improve cutting-edge world-class processes and tools, while roles in Product Division Operations will materialize financial benefits for ALU by engaging with product organizations and guiding the implementation of these process and tool capabilities throughout ALU's product portfolio.

Capability program candidates will be subject matter experts on processes and systems within a domain, and may be responsible for researching and applying industry practices, business process modeling/re-engineering, documentation, training, application tier II technical support, business requirements rationalization, interfacing with IT business analysts & developers, project managing & conducting user acceptance testing, and training

Product division operations candidates will be responsible for the deployment of the Software Supply Chain Capability Programs across the company. Responsibilities may include: business partner single point of contact, helping business partners visualize and quantify the value of specific capability programs, establishing business cases, documenting new business requirements and guiding adopting product managers through any technical challenges that may surface. Candidates will participate in user acceptance testing and deployments, reviewing and "proving in" new processes and systems developed by the capability programs


CERINTE

- Bachelors degree with at least 5-10 years of business experience with 3-5 years experience in systems engineering and/or process modeling/re-engineering

- Demonstrated success gathering and analyzing business requirements

- Strong documentation skills

- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including ability to communicate confidently, clearly and concisely in both written and oral forms up to and including executive level

- Successful experience in cross-functional and global projects

- Demonstrated ability to acquire new technical skills quickly and comprehensively

- These positions require competency in one or more of the following technical areas. Candidates with competencies in these areas will be preferred.

- Software definition (part numbers, BOMs, product catalogues)

- Software Licensing (development and deployment)

- Product Management

- Electronic Software Delivery

- Project/Program Management

- Software product/solution/project lifecycle

- System architecture, engineering and integration

- ALU systems knowledge and including GCIM, ACA, AMR, LKDI, ASLM, OLCS, CARES, ALED, Agile, PDM@, QTC, BluePlanet, APR, and MDM etc
