Three Pillar Global is searching for Automation Engineers. The most competitive candidates will display a strong understanding of Three Pillar Global’s objectives, strategy and values. You will add your skills and years of experience to an already established team of talented consultants that all work towards the same goal of meeting our client’s needs. This individual should maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability and emerging technologies and keep team members informed as appropriate with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Perl code and shell scripting
• Pair with fellow QA engineers, developers and business users to develop new scripts, applications, and processes for automating routine or error prone manual processes and test cases
• Develop a framework wherein automated integration and GUI tests are comprehensive in ensuring the quality
• Participate in defining the system’s test topology and suggest ways of effective utilization of testing resources in systems test environment
• Create and track metrics that illustrate the gains and savings of automation
• Develop an API for Test Automation
• Experience in a fast paced start-up environment is highly desired
Required Skills
• Proficient in Perl scripting
• Have a basic understand of Ruby
• Demonstrable understanding of Linux and the TCP/IP stack
• Experience in defining test requirements, test methodologies and setting up the required test lab and equipment
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience with Unit Testing Frameworks
Required Experience
• 3+ years of related experience
• Bachelor degree in EE/CS or related field or equivalent experience preferred
