- Analyze / contribute to internal and external roadmap from equipment manufacturer, consumables suppliers, assembly companies; component manufacturer, our customers their competitors and other electronic companies for a subject group
- Develop /contribute to technology roadmaps for subject group
- Identify in-house areas requiring / allowing technology breaks-through
- Develop business plan for new technologies together with sales & marketing function
- Consult customer on project base, if required
- Provide training to European operations as needed
- Develop relations with subject group experts in other regions and operational experts in the region.
- Drive international investigation projects.
- Bachelors or Master degree in electronics / production technology / material science / chemistry / physics or similar education
- Excellent knowledge in Design guidelines
- Excellent reasoning ability - to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Strong problem-solving ability - solves problems with intangible factors in creative and effective ways, can work on multiple, complex problems
- Relevant knowledge in ¿6 Sigma¿ methodology
- Excellent English communication and presentations skills
- Strong knowledge in all PCA manufacturing, repair and test processes. & equipment
- Knowledge of supplier market for equipment and consumables
- Strong knowledge complex international project management
- Computer literate ¿ MS Office
- Base knowledge in cost models and calculations
- 3 years of experience within an Electronics Manufacturing Environment.
