- perform general financial accounting duties - preparing and checking procedures of invoices from suppliers/vendors; bank, petty-cash; travel expenses; fixed asset register;
- prepare and reconcile accruals and prepayments in month end accounts;
- prepare VAT and Intrastat returns on behalf of other company’s businesses registered for VAT in Romania;
- cooperate with staff from Ireland, on coordinating accounting activities;
- support the preparation of various month-end, quarter-end and year-end schedules for management reporting;
- Economic university graduate;
- 2-3 year professional accounting experience required;
- Knowledge of taxes – mainly VAT and income tax;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools (mainly Excel);
- Good English;
- High level of reliability and responsibility, initiative, attention to detail.
