The manager will be responsible for construction site management. The Site Manager will be responsible for completion of site administration according to defined schedules, and the required quality level / budget. The role will also entail enhancing employee and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include: general administration; responsible for establishing the requisite site infrastructure and performing inventory control in accordance with company guidelines.
Site controlling and reporting: responsible for establishing efficient methods / processes for site controlling and reporting that at any time permit obtaining an up-to-date overview of the site status.
Risk Management: responsible for the handling on the construction site as well as collecting relevant data and making it available.
Project locations will be in the United Emirates.
Roles
-Management of a team of engineering personnel and ensuring effective control and utilization of labour
-Contract management
-Coordination of tenders including the preparation, reviews, bid strategy and risk reviews
-Organizing project management and site teams to ensure successful management of contracts in order to achieve
financial targets and programs
-Working in accordance with safety, environmental and quality requirements
-Monthly management reports.
The successful candidate has experience in: sound technical and business administration knowledge, technical supervisor / technical commissioning supervisor. As well as professional experience in Project Engineering or Power Plant Engineering. Further, personnel management know-how or Lead Mechanical Engineering role and knowledge in the field of electrical, civil and construction engineering.
Engineering process knowledge and interfaces particularly procurement processes and construction processes, and engineering and project management tools would be beneficial.
The ability to motivate people, to encourage creativity and create team spirit; good coaching skills are required in daily business.
