RESPONSABILITATI

The primary responsibilities for the Project Manager will be to manage Power Transmission and Distribution Projects. Specifically, the Project Manager will manage all technical aspects for high voltage / medium voltage and low voltage turnkey projects (switchgears and FACTS - Flexible AC Transmission Systems). The scope of these projects will include complete project management: ranging from initiation to on-site delivery and customer project acceptance. Further, this will include: technical sales activities for projects and products; design, supply, installation, commissioning and interface management as well as performing technical contract negotiations with customer and suppliers. Additionally, the work includes participation on-site in switchyard and FACTS installation.
Project locations will be in the United Emirates.

Roles
-Technical clarification with sales and customers
-Identify customer requirements in addition to defined requirements.
-Coordination and preparation of technical offers and respective time schedules
-Responsible for the management of the execution of projects in compliance with due dates, quality standards and
budgets.
-Planning and controlling of projects including preparation of the project order, project contract and final report.
-Order management / processing (SW / HW services) and controlling of external orders
-Definition and determination of work results, milestones, acceptance criteria
-Compilation of documentation for reporting (status report, progress report)
-End of project meetings / project steering meetings
-Escalation management
-Promotion of team spirit.


CERINTE

The candidate must have Project Management experience ideally within the power industry. You must have excellent communication and technical skills along with advanced negotiation skills. The Project Manager needs to be able to interface with in-house and customer engineering and management staff efficiently.

In addition, the ideal candidate has experience in managing sub-contractors, coupled with strong business acumen and the ability to work in a project management team. Ideally, you have a degree in an Electrical engineering discipline, or related field and several years of associated work experience.
