About the job :
We are seeking for a skilled Wintel Architect who will be responsible designing Wintel architecture for the organization, contributing to the strategy, architecture and support of the corporate IT environments.
• Assist in the detailed design of the virtualization project;
• Help to communicate towards the client and during the preparation of virtualized environment;
• Assist the business projects in the role of wintel platform design engineer;
• Assist in the development and design of the windows 2008 build, the cluster set up and the creation of the stack. Deliver documentation according to the standards to install and operate the stack and clustered setup;
• Give third level support for possible within the wintel environment.
• Excellent understanding of industry best practice across the Wintel technology stack;
• Comprehensive and detailed working knowledge of Wintel technologies;
• Strong technical knowledge of virtualisation technologies;
• Strong experience in Windows 2003 Server, XP, AD (Active Directory), Group Policy;
• Microsoft qualifications (MCSE) are very highly desirable;
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) highly desirable.
