The successful candidate will develop code/applications/software based on detailed specifications and design concepts and he will troubleshoot system problems and resolve them, working with the UK team, if appropriate.
Key competencies:
- 3-5 years experience in a Web Application Development role displaying user-centered design and approach
- Having previously worked on projects utilising the Agile framework (please outline with one)
- Knowledge of Agile project lifecycle methodologies
- IDEs –Dreamweaver, Homesite or Eclipse
- Development and build tools – SVN/Ant
- W3C Web Standards, Web Accessibility and Usability Standards
- Content Management Systems
- Advanced level of experience in: CSS and HTML, JavaScript, XHTML, PHP, AJAX
- Basic knowledge of design and simple image manipulation
The successful candidate will also have:
- A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Availability to travel and provide service in UK
Additional Skills / Knowledge (optional):
- Knowledge of Web/Graphic Design, User Experience and Information Architecture
- XSLT, XML, JSPs
