Responsibilities:
- Offer a high level of service to customers, making all their visits enjoyable;
- Meet, greet, seat and farewell customers at the restaurant;
- Take orders, serve and clear tables;
- Train floor staff according to restaurant training guidelines;
- Handle complaints according to guidelines and so that it leaves customers satisfied and impressed;
- Promote the restaurant and functions to potential clients;
- Communicate with the Manager regarding any problems or changes needed with service;
- Balance the register at the end of the shift ensuring a high level of accuracy and corectness;
- Ensure the safety of staff and patrons during service and after leaving;
- Ensure Responsible Service of Alcohol policies are implemented;
- Maintain hygienic food handling practices and cleanliness of all waiting and bar staff;
- Maintain bar stock levels and security;
- Carry out any other duties as advised from time to time.
For our client, the exquisite 5 star Alain Ducasse Gourmet Restaurant located in Qatar, we are recruiting highly skilled professionals to:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction;
- Insure dining room service according to the restaurant’s quality and service standards;
- Provide staff supervision and training;
- Handle operation and balancing of cash register;
- Insure safety and cleanliness of front of house staff and customer areas;
- Increase sales at all opportunities through the performance of the waiting and bar staff;
- Create a harmonious environment amongst all staff within the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in fine dining or speciality restaurants;
- Previous exposure in a multicultural work environment;
- Formal training in Food and Beverages Service;
- Proven track record corroborated by service certificates;
- Excellent references;
- Excellent inter-personal skills as well as communication skills;
- Positive attitude.
