For our client, the exquisite 5 star Alain Ducasse Gourmet Restaurant located in Qatar, we are recruiting highly skilled professionals to:
- Complete opening/closing duties in the outlet;
- Prepare beverage orders to outlet standards;
- Assist with F&B activities (cocktail reception, conference, banqueting and outside catering);
- Discover customer needs and appropriately suggest products for every customer to enhance service and meet sales targets;
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products;
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products;
- Prepare coffee counter for service with adequate mise-en-place;
- Clean service and working area;
- Maintain par- stock and inventory according to stock levels and advise on re-ordering;
- Maintain equipment and advises on repairs or improvements needed for greater efficiency;
- Assist in serving beverage orders, as requested by the Manager;
- Be responsible for the daily fresh juice production;
- Answer questions and provide information regarding the food and beverage outlets or any other Museum of Islamic Art related information;
- Communicate with the Manager regarding any changes or problem with service;
- Assist the Manager in performing the training on the job;
- Handle cash register in the absence of cashiers;
- Maintain personal hygiene and safety standards;
- Report any misunderstanding, problem or accident with guests or staff;
- Cooperate with other departments and perform any other duties as directed by the Manger.
- Prior experience in fine dining or speciality restaurants in 5 star hotels or upmarket restaurants, coffee shops and/or Bars;
- Minimum three years of experience as a Barista/Bartender;
- Proven track record corroborated by service certificates;
- Excellent references;
- Excellent inter-personal skills as well as communication skills;
- Positive attitude.
