In this position, you will be responsible for hiring and leading the test team, putting in place test infrastructure and processes, working very closely with strong dev and PM teams to deliver quality products on time, and managing the collaboration with other development and test teams in Redmond. The Windows Live Europe team is currently working closely with Redmond on a variety of projects, as well as defining and developing new applications. Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience managing a team as a test manager or senior test lead.
Proficiency in test architecture, design, and implementation.
Excellent familiarity with test approaches used throughout Microsoft.
Proven ability to hire and retain a very strong and healthy team.
Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality software on time.
Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
At least 4 years experience developing code in C# and/or C++.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to negotiate with other teams and partners, including vendors.
A BS CS degree or equivalent (MS would be a plus).
