Slot Technician

1. Be responsible and accountable for the overall operation of the Slots Department by applying the highest
2. Plan, organize, lead and control the operation through subordinate personnel
3. Must always be alert to security threats and cheats
4. Plan and co-ordinate various tasks e.g. training modules for Slot Attendants, cleaning and servicing schedules of equipment
5. Required to observe the highest standards of appearance, communication, co-operation, and guide and direct his staff to the same high standard
6. Train new attendants in order to conform to Company standards, policies and procedures
7. Manage, direct and supervise his attendants
8. Must have knowledge of new slot machine technology
9. Conduct weekly meetings with his staff in order to improve communication, prevent any potential grievances and forward any information received from Ship Management
10. Ensure that all equipment (including table-gaming equipment) functions efficiently and take preventative and corrective action where necessary
11. Must minimize equipment downtime through quick and thorough repairs
12. Assist in determining the optimum slot machine mix, in terms of denomination, location and percentage payback, and to accurately complete the Flash report after each Hard Count
13. Expected to be fully conversant with all gaming equipment
14. Ensure that the hard copy of the machine bible is regularly updated and kept in a secure area.
15. Ensure that monthly machine checks are carried out as directed
16. Keep an updated floor layout plan
17. Control and supervise all machine moves, game conversions, denomination changes etc
18. Identify regular slots players, monitor their play and assist them if required
19. Ensure that regular stocktaking is carried out and the inventory updated
20. Supervise and co-ordinate any work done by outside contractors to ensure thatsafety and service is not jeopardized
21. Have a full knowledge of all facilities available to the passengers
22. Ensure that general security on machines is maintained i.e. hopper covers MPU seals, door locks, etc
