• Plan and organize the work activity of the Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Technicians, Operators and Fitters such that all planned and unplanned work is progressed to a satisfactory completion.
• Provide feedback on performance issues to the Maintenance Superintendent and on the job training where required.
• Clear reporting of deficiencies and malfunctioning to the Maintenance Superintendent. Discuss and analyze technical and spares issues with All Departments. Propose solutions to bottlenecks, deficiencies, non conformities, etc
• Ensure that plant and equipment is fully operational and critically maintained in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure that planned maintenance activities are performed correctly, timely and in an efficient manner. Reporting or recording same as directed.
• Review the quality of information in the maintenance database, such that the information contained is technically valid, accurate and up to date.
• Advise others of technical issues related to the mechanical/ electrical/ instrumentation equipment, such that effective decisions can be made.
• Develop a close working relationship with the all Department Supervisors.
• Is familiar with Company Procedures.
• Ensure compliance with permit to work system, isolation standards.
• Be aware of roles and responsibilities with regard to emergency response.
• Planning the working activities of production operators during the maintenance phase
• Signing the work permits for the execution of maintenance activities
• Supervising the plant process parameter in order to meet the products requirements during start up of equipments
• Ensuring that all activities are carried out according to the safety procedures
• Ensuring that all activities are carried out according to environment protection procedures
• Coordinating the operators in carrying out their job, to assure the application in emergency situations of all operational procedures necessary to bring the plants in steady condition.
• Provide information for the preparation of work reports and prepare the technical reports relevant to the efficiency of the plant.
• To prepare and assure the implementation of shift programs for the personnel and their appraisal.
• To carry out the on-the-job training ensuring the implementation of the maintenance training program for the Company personnel.
• Coordinates pre-startup, startup, operation, control, optimization and shutdown of process sections in compliance with established procedures, standing instructions, and best practices
• Monitors abnormal process and plant conditions, incidents, hazards or emergencies; initiates and supervises action to correct or contain same, reporting incidents and near misses per procedure.
• Troubleshoots isolated and recurring process and equipment upsets in consultation with supervisor, subordinate personnel, process and maintenance experts
• Engineering Degree in relevant discipline
• 5 years experience in Power Industry or Oil & Gas Industry experience
• Intermediate knowledge of English
• Start Up: Commissioning Planning & Plant Commissioning, Gas and Steam Turbines, generators,
• Plant Management, Plant Prod Optimization
• Trouble shooting techniques knowledge
• Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity
