About the job :
We are seeking professionals to supplement several teams of QA Testers for banking applications.
An ideal candidate will have or is looking forward to gain distributed system testing experience, strong analytical abilities, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to design, implement, maintain and extend effective system test automation solutions.
You will advance in performing in a wider and wider variety of engineering tasks required to support the testing and testability of software.
Supporting testability standards within projects from the design through the unit/module test phase, involvement in preparation of function/integration/system and regression test plans for project and involvement with set up of test configurations, as well as the development, execution and enhancing of test suites will be included among the specific tasks, at the right time.
Responsibilities
• In-depth understanding of the QAP from functional requirements gathering to the design and execution of automated and manual system level tests.
• Discussing new products to be tested with the development team.
• Testing and assessing the effectiveness, accuracy or safety of new products based on existing safety standards or performance guidelines.
• Data entry, recording of results and completion of paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshooting inaccuracies or problems in the software package.
• Develop creative and competent analysis to identify root causes of technical problems while developing resolutions.
Qualifications
• Relevant experience in testing banking applications;
• Strong understanding of QAP: requirements gathering, testing definition, QA methodologies, test, execution and documentation.
• Good command of English in daily communication (verbal and written skills).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Competence and self-motivation in analyzing problems and getting to the root cause.
• Ability to continuously improve the approach of bug descriptions, functional requirements, design documents and code review.
• Ability working closely with developers to design test criteria and develop test plans, offer feed back.
We appreciate if you have:
Database knowledge (ORACLE, SQL, MS SQL Server or other.);
UNIX and Windows knowledge;
Test experience in integration surroundings;
XML and scripting (e.g. Pearl, UNIX Shells).
