Our client is a multinational IT company developing softwares with the intention of making its clients life easier.
Description of position:
- Assess and understand customer's requierments
- Translating them into optimum solution architectures and designs
- Overseeing the implementation
- Increase customer and partner satisfaction by delivering high-quality consulting services on time and on budget.
- Identify opportunities to develop and implement solutions for our customers and partners, based on Microsoft client, server and development platforms.
- Delivery of successful leading edge proof of concept and early adopter projects using Microsoft server technologies.
- Assist our enterprise customers to architect, implement, and deploy leading edge Microsoft technologies.
- Contribute to Microsoft Consulting Services growth and achieve own personal consulting revenue and utilisation targets.
- Be technically adept in a range of Microsoft products and technologies, currently Exchange 2003, Outlook, Office 2003, Sharepoint Portal Server, Sharepoint Team Services, Infopath, Biztalk 2005 and the Windows Platform.
- Proactively transfer product skills and knowledge to customers and partners as part of the projects.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architecting, designing, and deploying quality Solutions on Microsoft technology, with 3 of these being in a commercial consulting environment.
- Documented experience from large Information sharing and Collaboration Solutions projects with +500 users.
- Documented ability to address customer and partner business requirements with effective Microsoft Collaboration Solutions.
- Documented ability to effectively estimate the effort required to plan, architect and deliver Microsoft Collaboration Solutions and to correctly set customer and partner expectations.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- A degree level IT qualification.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to non technical audiences.
- Proven experience in driving for results, continually focusing on achieving positive, concrete outcomes.
- Works efficiently and diligently on the task at hand, putting in whatever time and effort is needed to do an excellent job.
- Self-starter, makes decisions independently, and escalates appropriately.
