• Responsible for construction design in the preliminary phase of the contract
• Responsible for leading a small team of constructors
• Participate at R&D projects in the field of innovative shipbuilding
• Keep contact with the clients, classification and officials within your field
Our client is specialized in the production of military vessels, primarily for the Royal Dutch Navy, but also for foreign navies. The company has 5 other business unites such naval and yacht construction, repair and conversion yard, marine gearboxes and parts services.
For their Research &Technology Support Department in the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a
Senior Shipbuilding Engineer
responsible for construction design in the preliminary phase of the contract
Job requirements
• College/ university degree in the field of shipbuilding
• Experience with shipbuilding design and classifications
• Experience with design and calculating software for construction (FEMAP, ANSYS, Nauticus Hull)
• Excellent command of English
