BASIC FUNCTION:
The SAP Project Manager is the person responsible for delivering the agreed project deliverables and for the performance of the SAP projects in Borouge. The Project Manager will manage several SAP projects at the same time. For each project he/she will:
accept the agreed project targets and goals and further detail them where needed
Ensure that the project meets its targets in time and within budget.
Identify non conformances and take the necessary actions in due time to get the project back on track
ensure the project gets the necessary human and other resources of sufficient quality and competence in order to meet project’s targets
monitor and report overall performance of the project with emphasis on milestones and costs
identify issues and resolve these them in a timely manner by coordinating with all people involved in and outside the project
Ensure the deliverables of the project meet the business requirements, are implemental, maintainable and accepted by the end users.

The SAP Project Manager reports to the IT Projects Manager who is managing the delivery of all IT projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE):
Specify minimum acceptable qualifications, experiences and skills:
1. Minimum Educational qualifications: Education and experience in Information Technology
The person should have a university degree in Information Technology or an equivalent knowledge of IT through work experience.
2. Minimum years of relevant experience: The person should have practical experience in IT of at least 7 years.
3. Technology know-how (systems, machinery, equipment, etc.): Experience in leading SAP projects
The Project Manager should have a general good understanding of the SAP functionality, design and architecture and should have lead major SAP-projects in the past. He/She should be familiar with the SAP project methodology.
4. Supervisory skills: Experience as a Project Manager
The person has experience in leading IT projects and has been successful in delivering major IT projects successfully. This means that he/she is capable of agreeing with the project stakeholders on the project deliverables, decomposing the project into activities and tasks to be executed, planning the work to be done and motivating project-team members to deliver according to agreed schedule and quality. He/She is familiar with identifying project risks and taking actions to mitigate these risks. Most of all, the person is capable to deliver and is living up to his/her promises.
Certification: The Project Manager should have at least one industry-standard project management certification.
5. Other ‘must-have’ skills: Strong communication skills
Given the complexity of the Borouge 2 project and the many parties involved, the person needs to be good communicator. He/She is expressing him/herself well, in English both in speaking and in writing. He/She is a good and active listener, can draw conclusions and reach agreements. He/She is convincing when speaking and can make him/herself heart.
Be prepared to travel: An important part of the SAP requirements are coming from Borogue Pte headquartered In Singapore. Regular meetings with people in Singapore will be required.
