Responsible for the management of multi disciplined projects to offices within Bucharest
and across CEEMEA. Projects will range from $50M to $3.5MM. Some travel will be
required.
In this capacity there are 5 major activities for which the Project Manager is
accountable:
Project Management – scope, schedule budget
Client Management – ensure that on site Clients expectations are met
Finance Management – ensure that all projects are managed within budget
Health and Safety Management – ensure that all projects comply to local and
Client’s HS&E guidelines
Performance Measurement – ensure that all projects comply to KPI’s
Specific duties include, but are not limited to,
Project Management :
• Manage projects so they comply to Clients and the Company policies and
procedures
• Ensure that all projects adhere to scope, schedule and budget.
• Provide timely and accurate project documentation and reporting including
but not limited to: Project Meeting Minutes, drafting of Project Work Orders,
Project Purchase Orders, Service Contracts and Change Orders, receipt and
verification of appropriate Vendor Insurance Certificates, execution of Project
Status Updates, and executing Vendor Close-Out Letters.
• Work with the SFM to help compile the 3 year capital forecast. Assess
projects and prioritise accordingly.
• Work with SFM to assess and prioritise the annual capital projects and
produce a program of execution
• Estimate project expenditure and compile the capital funding request
Client Management
• Provide project reports to client and SFM on project status
• Act as the Client and Customer interface to ensure that customer
expectations are met and managed within budget.
Finance Management
• Ensure projects comply with Client’s SAFE guidelines
• Ensure accuracy of capital and expense within projects to achieve +/-2% at
end of fiscal
• Work with the SFM to compile the quarterly capital, expense and FADO
forecasts for site annual budgets
• Ensure capital, expense and FADO are within the accuracy guidelines
quarterly and at year end
• Ensure that projects are correctly authorised before spending takes place
• Ensure timely capitalization of assets
• WBS elements maintenance – ensure precise WBS element structure is
available for project manager to break down the spending in project
components, capital and expense
• Monitor project spending and close-out against KPI measures to eliminate Out
Of Compliance incidents
Health & Safety Management
• Manage local contractors so they comply with Client’s HS&E and local
guidelines
• Ensure contractors are adequately trained and onboarded and provide risk
assessments and method statements
Performance Management
• Responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered in adherence to
contractual obligations, such as Project Management Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs)
• Work with the SFM and Regional projects to ensure the FM and PM RAS
scores continuously improve
• Ensure no KPI’s or CPI’s (critical performance indicators)
Skills • Excellent communications skills – English verbal and written
• Relevant experience in PM / FM delivery and operations
• Demonstrable potential to aspire to other management positions on account.
Experience 5 years + PM experience
Facilities Management experience of operating on a Client account is desirable
Customer relationship management experience
Financial management
HS&E awareness
Qualifications Appropriate PM / FM qualification consistent with experience
