Engineering Department
The Department is responsible for engineering of:
Electrical Drives Systems, medium- and low voltage,
for diesel electrical propulsion of ships
Electrical Power Generation- and Distribution systems, medium- and low voltage,
generators, switchboards, transformers, filters, etc.
Propulsion and Drives Control Systems
M.Sc. in Electric Power Engineering with knowledge/experience in the following areas:
- Electrical Power Generation- and Distribution
- medium- and low voltage - generators, switchboards, transformers, filters, etc.
- Maritime installations, incl. classification societies rules & regulations,
possibly offshore related installations
- Power system analysis, protective coordination, earth fault study , volt
drop study and other relevant studies for maritime power plants
-Willing to take on responsibilities and having strong motivation
-Looking for simple solutions on complex problems
-Taking initiative and cooperating within the engineering group and within projects
-Capable to work in a systematic manner focused on objectives.
The customer group includes shipyards, shipping companies and oil companies
