Our client, a global IT solutions and development company with an office in Brno, Czech Republic, is looking for suitable candidate for the position of Productization Lead - JBoss Enterprise Frameworks
You will be responsible for aggregating multiple projects
into a single platform.
You will own the stable branch of the following
projects: JBoss Microcontainer, JBoss AOP, JBoss Security, Hibernate, JBoss Remoting, Jgroups, JBoss Cache, Core, JBoss Cache POJO
Decides which patches and new features, if any, make it to
the branch
Ensure that releases are stable and backward
compatible
Full product deliverables: documentation, i18n, l10n, etc.
You will be reporting directly to the Technical Development Manager and maintain close relationship with Project Leads and other Platform Leads.
Strong organiational and communications skills are essential
to this role.
Proven track of successfull project productization (inlc
documentation)
Strong experience in software delivery/release cycle
5 years JEE experience
This roles involves some development activities, therefore a
solid JEE middleware expertise is required to fully understand the
scope and the impact of any code changes. You will have to decide
with the project leads if a patch makes it to the stable branch or
not.
OpenSource contribution is a plus
